Raised by a single Mother in Mangrove Cay Andros. Went to Burnt Rock Primary and Mangrove Cay High School.
Studied Computer Information Systems at College of The Bahamas. Started 2 successful Technology Companies from the age of 22. Work on projects for Government, Banks and small to medium sized businesses. Sold one of the companies after more than 6 years in operation.
Founded and invested in several other businesses in tourism, aviation, marketing, technology, commercial fishing, real estate and logistics.
Started Junkanoo Air - one of the few Bahamian Airlines with US FAA Authority to fly between the USA and the Bahamas Commercially. Daily flights into Mangrove Cay, South Andros and Eleuthera will start Q1 2021.
Started a Non Profit - Our Andros Foundation (www.ourandros.org) is committed to unlocking and unleashing Andros and its people’s true potential.
The youth are our future will be brought to the forefront of leadership and decision making in our constituency. I will ensure the investment in the Youth of our constituency is a key focus and goal.
Key focus will be given to increasing the investment in education and training, especially in high demand and emerging fields. E.g., Technology, Seafood and Food Processing, aviation and marine mechanic, entrepreneurship, advanced fishing, and farming, etc .
Investment in the expansion and sustainable development of our existing industries like commercial fishing, Farming, and Tourism (esp. Eco-tourism) will be made.
The creation and strengthening of partnerships with existing entities that foster and encourage entrepreneurship and developing programs, especially for the Central, South, and Mangrove Cay Andros Constituency, be used to foster entrepreneurship in our communities.
Creative and innovative ways will be utilized to ensure residents can achieve Home & Land Ownership via crown grants and public, private partnerships (PPPs).
With empowered Youth, an educated and well-trained public who are poised and ready to partake in our industries and pursue entrepreneurial ventures meaningfully, the economies of South, Central, and Mangrove Cay can take off.
